A navbar on every page
The entry portal, every AstroLog page and even the “page not found” pages now share one navbar: Porch, Changelog, Library, Ledger, Map, a Get involved menu (Community, Reach out, Donate) and an About menu (Roadmap, Sustainability, psanctuary.org, the sibling organization and GitHub). Every link has an icon beside its words, in the navbar and in the footer.
It never wraps into a second row. When a window gets narrower, the least-needed links slip into a More menu; below a laptop’s width the whole bar folds into one Menu button, which opens a panel of everything, grouped. The menus work from the keyboard: arrow keys move through them, and Esc closes them and puts you back where you were.
One window for every way in
Reach out, wherever it appears, now opens one window with every way to reach the church: the contact form on psanctuary.org, and info@psanctuary.org (with a button that copies the address). A place for this organization’s own contacts page is marked as a placeholder until there is one.
Community opens one window with every place the community gathers. For now that’s the church’s member network on Mighty Networks, with both of its doors: its public front page, and its membership plans for joining. A Discord for this playful side is a “coming soon” placeholder, with no link until one exists. And there’s a sneak peek at something further out: a small network of the community’s own, on open protocols like Lens and Farcaster, paired with a Psanctuary DAO, privacy first. No dates; a direction, not a promise.
A map with pictures
The map shows everywhere these pages lead, grouped: the two front doors, the record, the ways to get involved, and the places beyond GitHub. Each one shows the picture its link shows when you share it, so you can see where you’re going before you go. The entry portal has the same map, drawn from the same file.
A page to give
The new donate page points to the church’s own giving page on psanctuary.org. Below it is a thank-you list for anyone who’d like to be named for their gifts of time, skill or money; it’s empty for now, and no one is ever listed without saying yes. A place to give from a crypto wallet is there too, marked “coming soon”. There’s no wallet address on the page, on purpose: if you ever see one claiming to be ours, please check with us first.
Where it’s headed, and what keeps it running
The roadmap says what comes next, without dates. The sustainability page writes down everything that keeps these pages alive (one access token that expires, two scheduled jobs, the shared kit, cached link previews), so none of it depends on anyone’s memory. Both are linked from the footer of every page.
What’s new, louder
Coming back after a while? The count of what’s new since your last visit is now a bright, filled pill in the header, with a small note under it the first time it appears, and the count also rides on the Menu button. It glows gently a few times, and not at all when motion is set to Still or reading mode is on.
Reading, round two
Beside the reading switch (in the light and motion drawer and the welcome guide) there are now four text sizes and a comfortable line length switch, which keeps lines of text shorter with a little more room between them. Reading mode turns on the shorter lines too, and puts them back when you leave it. Both are in / search as well: type text or line.
A little more color
This organization is the church’s playful, decentralized side, and it looks it now: a Blacklight light (ultraviolet black, glowing lime and spore pink), an iridescent sheen on the portal’s title, and share cards whose spore prints sweep through violet, blue, mint, lime and pink. The sibling organization, Psanctuary Church, keeps the church’s professional face.
